My media product, I believe, caters well to the typical audience of the thriller genre because it opens with a link or source to the rest of the film. It shows Adele being an ordinary person in an extradinary world. As with most thrillers the person is not expecting their world to change which is shown. Our film pulls the audience in by asking them questions like "why is he killing her?" and "who are they?". We purposely didn't show their faces on the first scene so we could instantly grab our audiences attention. Henry ripping up the paper at the beginning kick starts this quite well I think.
Q2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?
As a group we decided to aim our film at 15-18 year old because we thought that it was a good age because more of this age range like horror, thriller type films. We went round and got primary data using a questionairre asking random people their views on thriller films and what they would like to see.
We also used young people in the film to help the audience be more interested on what will happen.
Q3. What kind of media institution might distribute your film?
There are several media institutions who would distribute my groups films. Such as Film Four who support independent films by developing and co-financing "smart and distinctive feature films". Their website can be found here http://www.film4.com/
Other kinds of institutes are ones that focus on British cinema as a whole, or even regionally.
Q4. Who would be the audience of your media product?
The audience for our media product would be 15-18 year old. we chose this age group because as a group we thought that they would respond to the film. We also used actors around the age of the target audience.

Q5. How did you attract/address your target audience?
To attract/address our target audience myself and my group constructed a questionnaire for 30 different people (the results are on section 4 of my blog). The answers we got from our audience were very helpful and made us pick the right choices of what to use in our film. (see section 11 for the audience feedback).
Q6. What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
We used the razor tool quite alot during the editing, no matter how much time you put into it everything will need to be edited some more and this tool is very useful for that.
Q7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learned in the progression from it to the full product?
I have learnt how to use premier more and different tools to use on editing, also how to work as a team to get the results wanted which makes the whole group feel good because we know we have finished and helped each other, also we all had different responsibilties which we all took into account and obviously took responsibilty for.
